However, Egypt does have some of the most luxurious 5 star accommodation in the world. In the last few years there has been an explosion in the hotel building in Cairo. In every major town you will find a variety of hotels. The top5 star hotels are usually fully booked and reservations must be made well in advance. This is especially true in the summer time, when most of the Arab tourists visit the country.
Listed below is a small selection of hotels ranging from 5 to 3 stars. The ratings are based on our previous travelersIf feedback. if you have any questions about any hotel that I have not mentioned, please feel free to ask us for our opinion If you require more information about any hotel on list below or you need to inquire about how to book this hotel at a very competitive price, drop us an email, and we will provide you with all the necessary information.

What is the difference between a 5 star and a 5 star deluxe hotel/cruise?
The star ratings any Hotel or Nile cruise depends on the facilities avilable in the cruise or the hotel , but you should know that the rating policy in Egypt is totaly diffrent from your home policy
*It all depends how long you are staying in Cairo and what exactly do you want to see .If you are only in Cairo for a few days it is a lot easier for you to see the sites starting from a base in Giza. The traffic from downtown to the pyramids can destroy the journey to take over an hour, which means an early start if you want a full day’s tour, especially if you require to enter the Great Pyramid, when you have to be at the plateau before 0800.
*Bed and breakfast means that only breakfast is supplied.
Half board means that breakfast and dinner are supplied
Full board has all meals supplied (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
All inclusive means that all meals and drinks are supplied; some hotels also supply alcohol. This latter point should be checked when making the booking.
*All hotels and cruises have safety deposit boxes, sometimes even in your room/cabin. All you need do is ask at reception and they will give you instructions on how to use them, or will safely put away your valuables until you need them.
